Choose a Paint Palette With Chip It! by Sherwin-Williams

choose paint

I recently discovered a cool tool from Sherwin-Williams called Chip It!, which allows you to use any image to create a color palette and find corresponding paint colors. It is very easy to use and I was able to create these in just a few minutes:

abstract modern

This is a punchy piece of art I used recently in a design project. This modern, energetic palette would be great in a family room or home gym.

sunset new york

This is a photo I took of a sunset in Cicero, NY. I would use this palette in a serene bedroom or nursery.

pillow decorating

I spied this sequined pillow in Marshall's and snapped a pic because I thought the colors would be beautiful in a room. This dramatic palette would make a show-stopping dining room.

duran duran music

And I had to include my favorite album cover of all time! While this is a very 80s palette I could see it working in a lounge-y living room. Or maybe it's just me.

Virtually anything could be used in this way to find color inspriation for a room or your entire home: a favorite fabric, a poster, a book cover, or that quilt crocheted by your grandmother. What are some of your ideas?
